FORT YATES, ND – August 24, 2026
Exciting changes are coming to Prairie Knights Casino & Resort. This October, the casino is upgrading more than 600 slot machines with new technology from Light & Wonder to make the guest gaming experience more convenient, connected and rewarding.
The upgrade will make it easier to access select offers, promotions and rewards right from your slot machine. Club members will also be able to securely access their accounts using their phone number, reducing the need for a physical player card, while new technology will help create a more connected gaming and dining experience across Prairie Knights.
The transition begins Monday, October 5, with slot machines being upgraded in phases. The casino floor will remain open throughout the process, although fewer machines may be available at certain times. Look for specially marked machines that have been upgraded and are ready to play.
To support a smooth transition, Sunday giveaways and regularly scheduled weekly gaming promotions will be temporarily suspended beginning October 5 and are expected to resume by October 24.
Along with the technology upgrade, the Knight Club will be relaunched as The Oahe Club, featuring an enhanced lineup of benefits and rewards. More details about The Oahe Club will be announced in the coming weeks.
These exciting upgrades are part of Prairie Knights’ continued commitment to creating an even better guest experience.
